I am noticing something. I am taking online courses again this semester. You know, it really does help out since I have ADD (deficient kind, definately not hyperactive lol), and barely taking any med's for it. (Taking 40gm's of Strattera once a day) Having the online quizzes, online study guides, notes and all, seems to help with my concentration.

No one in class to distract me, I can put in a movie for the kids and wallah. I have study time. It is making Psychology so much easier. Plus I never realized how cool psychology was! It's so neat to learn about stuff that affects your thinking and brain activity. Especially when you have ADD. =)

Now....all I have to do is go get the school help and quit putting that off, and I will be set lol.

Dunno why I posted this, just felt happy to share my sucess lol.

I've never taken an online course and because they are so common now, I'm glad to hear from someone who likes them. Yes, Psychology is fun. They offer it in grade eleven here and the kids love it. I think I would be a good candidate for online courses, but nothing would ever compare to a psych lecture with Dr. Timmins. She was the best.

I took a few online courses in community college, but I didn't do too great in them. Just like in the normal classroom setting I never got my homework done. Didn't study for tests, but was able to cheat thanks to google. I pretty much would just forget about them and find out I've missed so much. Regular classroom setting's definitely better for me, I need the structure and the interaction.

Im taking my astronomy class online this semester, I think it's great, however, if it was something that I wasn't interested in.... I dont think I could be doing it...

I took 5 online classes and really enjoyed them. The nice thing about them was the prof was the same for all 5 (i was taking them to become certified). He held "lectures" in a chat room 2x per week, there was also a forum to post comments and questions. Also, the classes had structure like a regular classroom (timetables for papers, tests, etc).
