Went to see my doc Wednesday. I was disillusioned with Adderall, which has seemed to become ineffective over time. I told her I was interested in ProVigil, which I had read about. She gave me a scrip for it, but said she thought another stim would be a better solution. Tried ProVigil yesterday, and it was better than nothing, but ultimately not that great. Am trying Focalin XR right now, and am impressed thus far. Seems a little "cleaner" than Adderall; i.e., I feel more like myself. I hope it endures and continues to be effective.

Thanks. It was great for one day, but by the second day, it had lost its effectiveness. I'm sure there is something I could do to counteract this, but I have no idea what it is. Anyway, ProVigil for me for the foreseeable future. Not ideal, but it's the middle ground between the elusive positive stimulant effect, which disappears for reasons unknown to me, and nothing at all.
