I have been taking name brand 20 mg Ritalin SR for years, and recently, I found its close to impossible to find this anymore in nearby pharmacies throughout the Bay area.. I was told the manufacturer has discontinued. I'm quite worried, as I had found in the past no other medication (including generic Ritalin, dexedrin etc) has worked well enough.

I usually take 40 mg SR in the morning, and 10 mg fast release boosters later in the afternoon. 36 mg concerta has *not* had nearly as good an effect, nor has the Ritalin LA.

I'm praying that the 36 mg concerta upped to 54, might be a replacement..

Any advice anyone?

Actually, does anyone know if Ritalin SR 20 mg is available anywhere?
