Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has ever felt like their meds suddenly stopped being all that effective. I usually have a day or so per month just before my period that my meds seem useless but lately it's been like 2 weeks or so. I did finally have a day I felt like I could actually get some of my work done yesterday but the days prior were a wash. Now I'm behind and am stuck with 5+ inches of reading that needs to get done and a bunch unfinished writing! http://addforums.com/forums/images/smilies/faint.gif UGH!... Is this just me or anyone else ever had a similiar situation? Thanks!

Hormonal issues tend to affect medication's usefulness for many of us. Its a drag isn't it?

Yes medication is less effective during that time of the cycle. Most doctors are not educated enough about Women and AD/HD to know this either.

Totally agree. At that time of the month I have no brain. I cheat and use the pill (in Australia called Monofeme 28 or Nordette 28) but taking 3 cycles of active pills in a row so i only have to suffer it every 10 weeks.

Yeah I feel like that sometimes. I thought that I was the only one. I'm lucky that I can get my meds for free from this public service organization. If you take your meds every month they can get you free meds. Just call 1-888-872-7519, no joke, it's the real deal
