does any one ever experience water retention with their medication?

I've only tried the stimulant medications, and none of them ever caused me to retain water.

In contrast, I've experienced more of a diuretic effect from my ADHD medications.

I'm on Strattera 60mg + Adderall 20mg.

I can hold it in for longer... is that water retention? Problem is, it can take forever to finish.

That said, I generally feel dehydrated. But that's probably because I don't drink as much anymore because the Adderall has a funny side effect of making me neither hungry nor thirsty. I have to make a conscious effort to go eat and drink.

i take 54 mgs of concerta


I seem to be retaining water. especially in my legs. I work out everyday and drink plenty of fluids. Before concerta my diet was very high in protein...although it still is i eat more carbs then normal...maybe this is why.

i always have a desire to eat. I think i eat more on concerta it then I did off of it...i feel like pig some days. I'm afraid to even get on the scale.

I thought it was just me, I've read that it makes you go more, but not so in my case. I drink water all day long. And it doesn't come back out....very frustrating. My feet and belly seem to stay swollen, even though I kNOW i've lost weight, my clothes are tighter!

Uh no. Adderall makes me feel deydrated (especially my muscles).

Count me as a no.

I do feel dehydrated though, very dry mouth all the time.

As far as appetite, I do have appetite, but food isn't very appealing. I know that sounds strange, but it's like, I'm hungry, I eat, but food isn't very good. I just eat it because I have to. I don't really crave anything. Except iced coffee and chocolate, that is...
