If so what & how do you say it? I am not using it as an excuse & don't need much of an accomodation. It is just like usual I feel that I am always one mistake or issue away from being terminated. I passed the 90th day of my employment & nothing was said, but I think that it is dangerous to assume that I am totally in good standing.

For the last 5 months, I am taking 3 or 4 Prozac Caps a day which is 60 - 80MG. I tried to taper off by skipping a day & then skipping two days but starting 'spazzing & flaking out' so I had to go back on the full dose.

I am not seeing any doctor or even have a doctor since I moved to CT from NYC -- just finishing up the refills of the original script.

I remember before taking these meds that I was constantly in a state of anxiety & couldn't concentrate properly. The Prozac has really helped with the feeling of anxiety & panic but now I am what is the 'manic side of ADHD'

I don't even know if I truely have ADHD or maybe a combination of Bipolar + Anxiety which causes ADHD symptoms.

In our employee handbook it says "It is critical to inform your immediate supervisor if you are taking any prescription drugs which may impact your job performance". What exactly do I say?? & to whom?? and how so I don't get on the express train to complete termination.

Ibut now I am what is the 'manic side of ADHD'Hi NickL30. There is no 'manic side of ADHD'.

You must have a professional diagnosis in order to claim accomodations from an employer. It would be in your best interests to seek a diagnosis.

If medication affects your job performance in a negative way, you would probably be asked to stop taking the meds or cease employment. Meds should improve your job performance, not make it worse.

For the love of God, DONT SAY A WORD!!! Please.....the last company I worked for I thought they would understand and accept it because of the exceptional job I was doing. Just look at what happened to me. No amount of money can be worth that. I will let you know what the EEOC finds out in their probe. [moderator edited out comments]
