I have been really down lately and want to get away for a while. I am a 29 year old male..college educated. (graduated with high honors) I worked for a large finance company before, and currently work for a large insurance company as a claims representative. I want to get into sales, and I am willing to relocate.I could send you a resume offline if needed..I would prefer to go south..and somewhere along the east coast. I currently reside in Pittsburgh. I never thought to use this as a networking board, but figured what could it hurt...

Hey Pittguy. Sorry to hear you're having troubles. I'd recommend the area here where I live. I live near Winston-Salem and Greensboro, NC--both are two good-sized cities (not anywhere close to as large as Pburgh) and have a lot of customer svce opportunities. New businesses are moving in left and right. People here are a lot more laid back (I myself came back here after living in DC where it was NOT condusive for my ADD) and a lot friendlier. It's a slow pace of life, near the beach, and with several airports close by. I've noticed a lot of Northerners are moving down for these reasons

E-mail me or PM me if you want more info. I can recommend a few companies and web sites that have jobs available.

Maybe list also under the PA boards (e.g. Geographically)?

I live in Central Florida and I work for The Villages. It is a huge beautiful retirement community. They are actually a city now but it is one company. They have wonderful benefits and my favorite is that they have an awesome charter school JUST for the children of the employees. We moved from Alabama just for the school here. My job is very laid back and fun and I deal with sales and customers. The good thing about it is that Orlando or beaches are just an hour away;) Good luck.

Sometimes not all jobs are posted. Sometimes you have to ask at human resources I know that would be kind of hard being so far way. I know with me I learned I just had to get my foot in the door and all the other doors opened right up. I got a seasonal job there and when that was up my boss just reffered me to another department with full time and much higher pay. I know the sales office are always highering lobby host and last I heard like 2 years ago they start out at $10 an hour but it is probably higher now. If you could get that it wouldn't be hard to work your way up, I knew someone who did it quickly. The have an atoumated job line I don't know if it was listed on the website I will see if I can find it for you though. Hope this helps and good luck;)
