Are there any indications that mixing these two would cause any negative side effects?

I'd tend to think that the drowsiness effect might cancel out the Ritalin, even if only a little bit. Of course I get hyper from Benadryl myself :o so that's always a possibility too. Which happens to you with Benadryl?

I take Benadryl with Ritalin IR when my Wellbutrin gives me hives. I am fine. :)

This does not occur daily.....but when it does, all is well.

I've never heard of any interaction bewteen those two drugs, nor I was able to find anything online concerning an interaction between the two.

Benadryl is the drug sometimes used in some OTC (over the counter) sleep meds. (e.g. Unisom or Sleep Eeze?)

It is similar to Dramamine (both are antihistamines; Dramamine is moreso an antinauseant, in effect though).

I find Dramamine and stimulant = normal.

PS Still wouldn't drive on them though.
