This is for any adult that has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD in adulthood and is interested in volunteering some of their time to participate in a research study I am conducting for my Honours in Nursing. I am a student at the Flinders University of South Australia and I also work as a Registered Nurse. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my 3rd year of my nursing degree, what I exprienced lead me to undertake this research project specifically aimed at the personal experiences of adults diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. The reason for this was that I found minimal research into this area and what I did find was more news media or modified child/adolescent ADD articles.

This research project has the approval of the Flinders University Social & Behavioural Research Ethics Committee, if you are interested in sharing your experiences please email me and I will send you a study letter, information sheet and consent form and after I have recieved a consent I will forward the questionnaire. All data will be de-identified to maintain confidentiality and participation is voluntary so you can withdraw at anytime without consequence.

If you are interested please email me at chec0008@flinders.edu.au and I can send you out an information pack. THIS IS NOT SPAM, I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING, AND I AM NOT GATHERING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO SELL ON (I have strict guidelines through my ethics committee for handling personal information and there are serious consequences if I breach them). What I am trying to do is increase information on adult ADHD through research. Thank you for reading. Tristan Checkley
