I have had this nagging tightness, full feeling in my neck, throat area that will not go away. It's not a sore throat, it feels as though the blood vessels in there are swollen or something. It's gotten a lot worse since I started Adderal XR for my ADD. Am also on 1.5mg XR Xanax and 45mg Remeron. What I'm experiencing is definitely physical in nature. Anyone else had anything similiar? I have a Dr. appointment but it's not until next week to help figure this out. It was more of an on/off again thing but has gotten to the point that it doesn't go away until I'm laying down to sleep. Starts up again as soon as I'm up. I really hope it's not angina. :(

Hmm, allergic reaction maybe? Make a phone call to your doctor before you take your next dose. Make a phone call immediately would be a better idea. Don't mess with that.

dude im experiencing hte exact same thing! wat the hell is it?!?! im on xanax xr and adderal xr as well. dok tried to give me singular thinkin it was allergies, didnt help at all. it almost feel sliek muscus but then its not. its been liek this for months now

I went to dr., had chest x ray, then to ent. Was told my "voicebox" was red and irritated. Also, had upper gi and....nothing. My neck is very sore.

I am experiencing the same thing - it's a common symptom of anxiety. I'm on Ritalin, but have been for about a year and this feeling just started. I just started a new job and a new schedule and I've been stressed out, so I'm attributing it to that. I'd also felt it a few years ago, and went on anti-anxiety medication. It went away.

Right now I'm trying to take a natural approach to it with relaxation and meditation, but it's been a slow process.
