I was diagnosed with ADD about a month ago and my psychiatrist prescribed 10 mg of ritalin. This helped me focus but it would wear me out within a few hours so a week later he prescribed 17mg of Concerta which helped me focus at first but by the second week, i was having severe sinus pressure and headaches. He prescribed me 10mg of Adderall XR 2 days ago and the first day i took one, and it didnt help me focus at all so yesterday i took 2, and still it didn't really help me focus. I took one about 3 hours ago and it feels like its done nothing for me. I'm trying to focus on writing/researching for my paper but i just can't. I was wondering if it would be okay if i took one of the 10 mg of Ritalin i have left. :confused:

Unfortunately none of us here on the forums can truly answer your question, since we aren't your treating physician. I really encourage you to ask this question to your doctor. I know you wanted a quick answer.... but this is really the best way, for your health and safety's concern.
