I notice that my heart rate seems to go up after eating a rather large meal. I haven't really tried by eating a tiny meal. I'm a big eater so that might just be it. Anyhow, I'd love to hear from you.

I seem to get that on Focalin. Shortly after eating lunch yesterday by heart rate went from 80, which is where it typically is on the stimulant even though my resting heart rate is about 70, up to between 95 and 100 bpm. It lasted about 45 min and went right back down to 80. Very wierd. My GP told me that he wouldn't be concerned about my heart rate unless it stays above 100 on a fairly consistent basis.

I feel the same way, but since my eating has decreased, I wasn't noticing it. When I started taking a liquid meal supplement, after my first drink, my heartrate shot up, my chest and back hurt, from trapped gas, I think. I know those shakes are high in sugar and carbs.

I get that too....its kind of uncomfortable sometimes..i get it regardless of having taken adderall or not...it could be your body just busy comsuming the food. I read somewhere that the rate of heart attacks jump up on the holidays and that it was, PARTLY, attributed to the extra high calorie food intake during the holidays. I dont know, but if it subsides after a while, you are probably okay.
