ive been taking adderall xr 25mg for about 1 1/2 months, the name brand adderall. recently i started taking 10mg adderall ir, the generic kind. on the perscription label it says amphetamine tab 10mg generic for adderall. I can defenitley see the name brand xr working the way it should, but i feel like the IR isn't doing as much, could this be because of the generic brand or could it be to low of a dose for the IR? does anyone know where i could find pics of generic and name brand IR so i can see what the visual differences are? thanks in advance

I take generic Adderall IR. Amphetmina Salts 20 mg. I have not been able to tell a difference from name brand IR tablets. I would give your body time to adjust to the Instant Release from XR.

Well Adderall XR 25mg really is equal to 12.5mg of IR x 2. So if you went from 25mg of XR to 10mg of IR you've decreased your dosage. J

JR is right. . your dosage was decreased - that's probably the problem.

i guess i shouldve stated this orginally, im taking it in conjuction with the 25mg xr , i take the xr in the morning and the ir usually in the afternoon or early evening. do you think the ir dose could be to low?
