please tell me, because i am worried now.
I'm an INFP and suprisingly I do have very good math and logical skills. I just prefer to use my creative side most of the time.

The MBTI is based on personality traits, not job skills and abilities. Do some googling to learn more about personality vs. career assessments. MBTI is valuable but I found much more useful information in both of the following career assessment/inventory tools.
You need to take a Strong Interest Inventory or MAPP Assessment-both are excellent tools and actually match your motivation, interest in job content worker trait code system, and so on. Both assessments give you the top 10 or 20 vocational areas/specific jobs that match your assessment traits.
MAPP (http://student.assessment.com/)has a $19.99 student special right now-It really helped me a lot and was right on the money. Makes writing a resume/cover letter easier.
Strong (http://www.achieveinsights.com/index.php?file=productlist&testselect=3&gclid=CJbh9by7sI4CFSCTWAoduEfofg)is more expensive and the results were similar. I don't think one is better than the other, they are just different assessments that measure the same things. The lowest Strong price I found is $59.99
BTW-I am applying for career center jobs with colleges-me, a career counselor. Once I certify-soon!!!!, I can do consulting while job hunting.... I have dreams in this area... I am an ENFP-but am almost even on the outer edges-I have I and J traits that are very strong too, but prefer-key word is prefer... E and P.
Actually a lot of career counselors do use Meyer Briggs. The Book "Do What Your are" is about career choices and its based on MBTI. I found the book very interesting and helpful.
Another great assessment is the DISC. I had one done in the past year and was quite impressed by it.
It's probably best to work with some type of career counselor. The tests are just tools and they can't replace working with an actual professionals.

Yes, I knowm I am a human resource development professional..... studied Myers Briggs and studied many assments in my grad work and taught career exploration and development. I teach career exploration in Career and Technical Education classes and am certified to administer cooperative vocational education apprenticeships, internships, field studies, practicums and other experiential learning opportuntiesfor secondary and college students. I am also trained in multicultural differences in these traits and am certifying to use upper level assessments. MBTI is used in careers gives on part of the whole picture.
I am trained in Hersey Blanchard's Situational Leadership MBTI based model on team leadership-again based on how you lead based on personality and interaction with other MBTI types. Again, this is not the same as a career skill, ability, knowledge, vocational analysis, worker trait code, temperment, how you work with people, things, and data, use math reasoning, language capacity and then classifies you strengths based on answersto Likert or forced response questions rating your scores in major vocational areas. Fine arts, education and training, engineering, farming..m medicine and health, basically the 16 career clusters and a few other areas. Then it covers leadership factors, interpersonal factorssocial, performance, mechanical-3 areas. Then it covers educational analysis, how you thik, learn, tacke in info, and test. Far more depth than the MBTI results from my MBTI advanced testing and result reports. They both have their place but MBTI is not the same as a career assessment and its reliability and validity are not fully embraced by the psychometric community-read about it by googling....
I trained in Career Cruising Online, a secondary level career assessment program similar to Strong and MAPP. I have binders of research on this subject area and am working on presentations and study materials to accompy the instruments so people can get the maximum benefit from their results.
This is a very useful tool and has the potential to help you find jobs that are a good fit for your values, goals, and skill sets. So many ADDers struggle with careers and using MBTI and other instruments could make a phenomenal difference in school performance and career success and performance. I know it has for me. I find it very uplifting and encouraging to discover what a neat person I am and the specific gifts etc that drive my purpose in life.
The Strong covers occupational themes, basic interest scales, occupational scales, personal style scales, profile summary, and response summary of your scores. The second part scores your occupational themes, an interpretive report, and ways to use the results in career planning and choosing education program, best work environment, and ideas for leisure activities.
There are also work, learning, and teaching style assessments that focus on best working environment, learning strategies, and teaching methods that work with your temperment/personality and skill assessments.... they are all parts of a hole, like 100 pictures of a town give you a better idea of what is like compared to just one or two.
Enjoy the journey, create the life you want, and best wishes from me! Forge ahead.....The money you invest is for a priceless chance to find an ADD friendly job you will love!!!!
ME-VI, passionate about people!!!!!
