I just wax now. Better to have someone who sees everything to do it, and there is one less ting to do in the shower.

My ADD fiancee doesn't cut herself, but at the speed at which she shaves her legs, I'm surprised she doesn't. She does miss spots and generally doesn't do a good job, but it's a different story when I shave her legs. ;) :eyebrow:

I shave one leg or half a leg, then get bored of being in the tub and get out.

Good thing shorts season is almost over, lol.

my son is always pointing out the trail of blood I leave behind me as I leave the bathroom post-shave. He annoyed me by repeatedly asking why my ankles and toes were bleeding - hel-LOOO, my eyes are for CRAP without my glasses and I can't SEE that far away! Those pesky bony parts, the toe knuckles and ankles, keep jumping up in front of the blades.

I too do the half a leg or just one leg and go ahhhh boring. I like Veet a lot. Rub it on and scrub it off.

I find myself forgetting the sequence of things, like "is it shave first wash second or the other way?". and also, i will shave my legs, then forget I did it and shave them again, or shave one twice and not the other, etc. sometimes these things make me laugh, other times i just want to cry.

My biggest isssue is distraction, rather than bordem, in the shower. I have: twin five-year-olds. Four cats. A Shih Tzu puppy. One, at least, of them has an emergency when I'm rushing through the shower. So I do miss a lot of spots. My crowning achievement was last week when I forgot to do a whole leg. Didn't notice until I was dried off. :-/

yes i cut myself always rushing if i don't cut myself then i miss out bits and if i don't cut myself or miss out bits i do one leg and leave the other..... so anyway i decided a way around all this.

I bought something called veet a lotion u put on and guess what it's got a bladeless razor in it so no more cuts and i can rush as much as i like lol

I love Veet, unfortunately, it is something you can build a sensitivity to after repeated exposure. So, I can only use it on certain parts of my body now (that are less sensitive anyhow). I hate shaving, and remember when I used to do it religiously. Now I only do it if I am wearing something that show's my legs...

I don't cut myself a lot but I sure do miss spots a lot! It is funny, my legs look like checker boards!

I often only do one leg as well. So I walked around in long pants almost all summer long (and I live in Texas) :p . But what's worse is when I decide to do my eyebrows. I usually don't do them because it's too tedious for me, but sometimes I still do it. It has happened to me twice now that I started doing them but only finished one, and then walked around for days with one eyebrow done and the other one not! And nobody told me about it. I asked my boyfriend if he hadn't noticed it and he said, yeah, you looked kind of funny there for several days...

I once shaved my privates and ended up nicking myself and the cut took a number of weeks to heal.....how embarrasing:o and yes I do miss spots and cut myself regularly when shaving the legs or armpits.

My husband is always telling me I shave too hard and too fast and I'm like - why would I want to take longer, and besides even if I start out slow I'll forget and end up doing it faster anyway! I use nair... so much nicer. But more expensive. Oh well.

lmao. Thanks!!! I laughed so hard at this my poor cat sitting on my lap wondered what was going on! That's priceless... maybe that's why I don't take baths... I get bored because they take too long!

Since I've switched to Venus brand razors I haven't had a nick or a cut!:) They're rather expensive but it's one of my few indulgences.

I do four quick, very quick, swipes from ankle area to knee. Front, back, left, then right. About once a month I'll take my time and do it thoroughly.

If I use any other brand razor I almost always end up cutting myself. I've torn myself up using the least expensive razors. I'm just to quick, reckless, impatient.

That's so funny! I've never thought of that, but I do it all the time. I just recently ask my therapist if being accident-prone was part of ADD/ADHD. She laugh and said "possibly". I've always been clumsy. I never thought about the aspect of shaving.

I wish I could afford "that electrolysis" - that is if it's still being done... and rid my legs of hair forever!!!! (and armpits, too).

I miss spots often. I try to shave twice in the shower, once when I first get in and again somewhere in the middle or end before the hot water runs out. Still end up missing spots though, go figure.

Anyone wax?? I am just curious to see if its worth it or not. Pain verse smooth skin??
