Hi there im sorry to go on like this but im a worried mum.
My little boy is very active, stubborn he has a short fuse a bad temper he is hard to handle and when he gets angry he slaps and headbutts.
Im finding him to hard to handle and i find myself getting increasing angry and cross with himand i hate myself for doing that.
He is only 2 and he is very clever he is starting to count he says lots of words including a swear word whoops.
He can't contrentrate well on things unless its "in the night garden" on cbeebies.
Now i don't know if its adhd or add or what and im probably making it sounds worse then it probably actually be but im worried and i don't know what to do about it?
Any suggestions please?:confused:

Hi there no he is my second. My first is 7 yr old daughter.

Honestly? He sounds like an active, bullheaded, intelligent normal 2 year old. Perhaps his sister was much easier to deal with?

Hi there yes she was easier you could put her in one place with toys and she's sit there playing but him you have no chance.
He is so hard to control and handle at school in the school play ground when im collecting my daughter and also at the shops in front of people i feel so embrassed, i have low confidence as it is but he makes me feels so small. I can see people looking at me.
and i hate that and i just don't know what to do.

Hi Babyboy515, i was just reading your post, your son sounds very much like mine did at 2yr old, my lad got diagnosed at aged 8yr old with adhd.

Many people said oh it's the terrible 2's but it carried on to 3's 4's 5's and so on.

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet!! See how it go's.

I really only went to the doctor with my lad was when it started to affect him at school.

I coped with the rest of it.

Hi there thanks for that. I just don't know what to think. I don't want to judge my son and treat him differently or anything like that but i don't want to walk into the doctors and say i think my son has ADHD and get looked at stupidly.
Me and doctors don't mix for months i was taking me son to the doctors because of his chest and colds and nothing was done about it. i changed doctors and took him because his belly button popped out and straight away within two days i was told he had a liver turmor!!
