I was in my morning routine, just about to take my Adderall XR 30mg + Strattera 60mg and I got a series of emergency phone calls that forced me to rush out of the house and start driving...
... I had already taken my pills out of their container, but I did not take them. That means that they're on the counter.
I just realized this. If my dog found them, he ate them :| He's a 75 pound Golden Retriever. Would the above dose kill him? Anyone know?
I feel SOO stupid! I'm gonna call the vet and the neighbor.

The vet will know. Let us know if he's ok.

Please let us know what happened!
I will be thinking of you and your Golden all night (good thing he weighs 75lbs. and is not a little pocket puppy).

My other dog is a pocket puppy... 4 pounds :| But she couldn't have reached them, unless a cat or dog knocked em over. Doc says he'll probably be fine.

Ohmygosh Pedal! Are they where you left them? My OCD so would have MADE me go back home and get those pills. Did you do okay without your meds?
I wonder if the pills would work on a dog

So, the dog was fine, and yup he ate em and survived just fine. What a stomach that dog has... he's eaten countless socks, qtips, ear plugs, applicators, and now amphetamines.
I totally wanted to go back home to check on him, but I was caught between three emergencies, and the life of a dog and me not having my pills were the least of the three.
Being pill-less today was good and bad. It was a good reminder of how bad my ADD is and how happy I am to have found out about it. I'm so emotional / irrational / all over the place and FIDGETY when I'm not medicated(OMG, I was foot-tapping like CRAZY today, foggy, irritable you name it)

I'm surprised though that you didn't come home to find him finishing repainting the house. :D
