In New Zealand the government subsidised slow release formulation was "Ritalin SR". However, "Rubifen SR" is cheaper, so the Ministry of Health have decided that you can no longer get Ritalin SR on subsidy, only Rubifen SR. I can kind of understand their reasoning, why waste money. I just want to know what is the difference between the two? has anyone heard of it or used it? does it work the same as ritalin??

if the rubifen dosnt work for you you can apply to pharmac for a special consideration for Ritalin

Have you hopped over to the misc. treatments section to see what's going on over there? I'm finding the amino acid therapy really helpful, and so is my son, kind of like the medicated days. There are some other things you can try too. I'm an alt guru, so if there is anything I could help you with, just holler at me.
