Sort of a strange occurence I noticed since picking up my newest prescription yesterday. My doc and I reviewed how Adderall's been helping me, but leaving me hanging between doses, and after my last dose. So we bumped my dose from 60mg total to 80mg daily, 4 x 20mg, to get me about 14 hours of coverage or so.

My last script was for 15mg pills. I got the stinky pinkies, Barr generic. This time I got 20mg Barr.

Took them for the first time today. I highly doubt this is psychosomatic, but I SWEAR, after the three doses I've taken today, that these pills feel half as strong as the 15mg. I'm still awake, and somwhat focused, but the pills just feel weak.

It's sort of comparable to how I am about coffee. If I don't drink any, I notice a slight headache, tired. But just one cup offers me mild effects, that I can feel (at least the first cup of the day, if I have more than one). Adderall's the same way. Not very noticable, but noticable. Esp. the first dose. And the 20mgs I got simply feel weak.

Is this possible?

It is possible to have different effects from different generics from different manufactors.

I figured that much, but meant different batches from the same manufacturer. So far I've only taken Barr's version, and still insist it feels different.

Oh yea, I think even that from drug to drug, in the same 30 day supply can vary even if minute.
