The skin on my arms appear translucent and then you can see skin tone/clear squiggly lines all over the place UNDER my skin. I also get the red hands with the painful tingling and random 'zings' of pain but that isnt as bad. Last night I noticed this funky looking skin issue was on my legs as well. My throat gets red only on one side, but not having breathing issues. It only happens for a day or 2. :(

Anyway when I pinch my skin I can feel the lines and its freaky. I tried researching everything online but found nothing. I also get the Gardasil shots so not sure if that has to do with it. I passed it off as an allergic reaction before, and took Benadryl. Im sure someone else out there has had this happen so PLEASE tell me if you know anything. Im so frustrated because Im not taking my medications: Adderall IR (80mg) Lamictal (100mg) and when needed Klonopin (1mg) in case its the cause. :(

Tinkerbell, one of the effects of Adderall, or other similar stimulants, is that it works as a vasoconstrictor (narrowing/constricting of the blood vessels). That may account for the tingling and zings that you feel; the redness in your hands, and that is not uncommon.

Don't have a clue about the skin squgglies though, unless that is also a symptom of the effects on your vascular system; the capillaries very close to your skin are vasoconstricted??

Too much Adderall, or your other drugs are making it build up. This would explain why you are having the sensations people get on higher doses of amphetamines.

Tight muscles caused by amphetamine can make nerves hurt or tingle, and cause stuff that feels like carpal tunnel, etc.

I was on dextroamphetamine and an SSRI (bad combination as they metabolize on the same enzyme).

Skin discolorations and skin picking etc can be caused by amphetamines too. You often see amphetamine abusers (who use super high doses) complaining of skin problems and picking at their skin. They get terrible rashes, etc.

I'd talk to your doc about a drug reduction or change.

NB you don't say why you take the other two meds. I assume you have more than one issue happening there.
