View Full Version : Sometimes getting little sleep works Crisgo79 03-24-03, 01:41 AM I have found that when I sleep 5 hours, thats enough for me. Does anyone else find this works too? Tara 03-24-03, 06:52 PM Is that the average that you sleep each night? I can survive on in 5 hours of sleep a night but I want to do more than survive. I feel so much better when I get into a regular sleeping pattern of about 8 hours a night. Andrew 03-24-03, 08:02 PM I operate at my peak when I get about 6 hours of sleep. No more, no less. Crisgo79 03-27-03, 12:27 AM That is sometimes normal for me. I feel all wired when I am home from work and it takes me a while to calm the heck down. yinrycher 03-31-03, 11:31 PM I average about 5 hours a night as well. Mainly because a certain 4 year old in this house gets up with the roosters though and I cant seem to go to sleep before 2 am unless I have a migraine. Spirit 04-01-03, 12:39 AM I also only average about 5 hours a night. Any more than that and I feel wiped out the rest of the day. Also haveing fibromyalgia if I sleep to long I'm so stiff and sore the next morning I can't hardly move. Although there has been some research done on this and they believe that by not getting the 8 hours our bodies need to regenerate it'self we are shortening our life spans. Who know, I say to heck with it, what ever works then do it. :P Huggz, SusyQ55 07-17-03, 02:57 AM I have not gone to sleep w/o the aid of meds in the 3 yrs since cancer surgery/treatments. I used to use easy listening music to help me sleep but irritates hubby to the point of argument. When I do sleep (with meds) I generally wake up to neighbor/traffic noises. I use of most of my energy b4 noon & sometimes actually pass out in afternoons from sheer exhaustion, waking with major confusion. Doc is still monitoring new use of Strattera. Jellybean 07-22-03, 01:13 AM I think I need 7 hours, but I get 4 to 6. 6 good hours feels great. I just can't get into bed, And never seem to get tired, just wired. joanrdtobe 07-22-03, 09:44 PM I need 6 or 7 hours....:) otherwise can't function or think or read...and my ADD symptoms are worse.... |
