... the Borg mind - is interesting - and a subject which we covered a little while back.
It can be dispelled in large part though - or at least the bit which most of us fear - the bit about humans becoming autonomous robots going about their business without deeper consideration of the world around.

That last sentence phrased in such a way that any passing nonADD thinker might think to themselves
'hey - wait a minute!
... that's me (now)'

Tammy resolved the issue for me - in that in a world in which we become ever more complex - becoming ever less complex - kinda' like the actual borg clones - would contravene our

There is only one underlying basis to everything ...
evolution to ever greater complexity

... however other aspects of the Borg and the collective mind - which drive the individual clones is important.

For instance - we are constrained within a structure of mind - and thereby are - as long as we use our mind linearly
- to describe or traverse reality
(we might appear to travel around out there - though are really travelling around within our mind - as we move through life)

... in a sense acting out the Borg nightmare of operating without autonomy.

However - the bizarrely counter-intuitive argument which I adore - is that the realization of being in that hell - unpleasant as that thought is
- would not be compatible with our own desire for continuation

- the idea that our observation of our lack of freedom to roam mentally
- is sign that we are gaining the freedom to roam -

~actually and very specifically in our case
- *have* gained the capacity
- though not yet understood how to use it.


... and that we're actually observing our own imprisonment prior to following the signs labelled

Imagine that we're living in a world in which every 5 minutes some chappy just up and died.
Now - imagine that in that world - about 9 or 10% :-)
of the inhabitants had the magical ability to see the little green monsters who were responsible for these deaths.

These people from the tails of the distribution
- could prevent these problem monsters from wreaking havoc -

... however the guy's (90 - 91% others)
who're being killed on regular basis - merely believing that

s'ppose'

Stage I
As the chappies who can see the little green men learn to use their skill - they first go through a phase of believing themselves to be mad
Stage I
(that's the contextual disorder which follows ADD - the anxiety, depression and similar nightmarish friends)
Stage II
and then gradually learn to use their capacity
(nobody can teach them to believe their own eyes - it's a new capacity - and they are the first - the guys need to trust themselves - and see the patterns for what they represent)
Stage II
(that's what we're doing here on ADDF)
Stage III
and then finally - the ability to see green monsters will select - as everybody else will be dead -
- and there will only be people around who can see the monsters - and the monsters thereby will themselves die out -
since they've no means of eating.
Stage III
(estimates place the complete transition from nonADD to ADD
or
Homo sapiens subsp. sapiens -> Homo neosapiens sapienses

as taking a couple of our human generations (50 years))

I believe it'll be quicker.

Abstract communication form - ADD friendly thoughts patterns keep those patterns, those that are not ADD friendly let go. {thought in this case = life}
