I was on Adderall XR but the doc thought i was too manic with them so he put me on new meds again :rolleyes: ...a brand new pill for ADHD called Vyvance. It's a new stimulant that is like time released Adderall...50 Mg of Vyvance is equal to 20 Mg of adderall XR.

I have taken it for the first time today and the effects are indeed like Adderall, but I dont feel as manic. Still I am puzzled, if 2 medications work the same as the other...what difference does it make which one I take? :confused: Still, since this is the 1st day maybe I'll figure that out later on.

Vyvanse is lisdexamphetamine and it's dexedrine bound to l-lysine, it digests in the stomach so it cannot be snorted

Oh really? Thank You....I am glad they found a way to at least stop one method of abusing the drug. My shrink is worried I may get hooked..but hell if he is that worried about it..I will give the pills to my mom to give them to me everyday...or MAYBE a lil trust on both our parts?
