Ok, so I have a problem trying to swallow ritalin tabs. :(

Sometimes the tablet gets stuck in my throat, and other times the tablet desolves a bit on my toungue and leaves a sickening taste in my mouth which often makes me bring it back up again. :(

Anybody got any tips on swallowing ritalin tabs?

Are you using water? I always put water in my mouth then put the pills in,tild head back then swallow. No taste of the pills and they go down fine.

Thank you for the advice, but I am going through a phase in my life were my adams apple is developing, and I often feel like I have a huge lump in my throught, and It makes it almost impossable to swallow tablets, but I can swallow capsules fine, but I dont want to switch medications for that reason as ritalin works well when I can actually get it down.

I thought the tablet had to desolve slowly in your system.

Im sure someone told me that crushing it is like taking coke! :eek:

It gives you a huge boost, but only lasts about half an hour because you remove the time release effects by crushing.

So i heared....

If you take immediate release ritalin you can crush it and put it in water and drink it and some swear that it works better that way too but only if you are on the IR.

put them in a piece of cheese?
