Anybody else procrastinating? 4gotAgain 10-08-07, 09:16 AM Oh yeah, all the time. It took me a month to unpack after moving :( Something that helps is writing lists and leaving them somewhere obvious. eg the toilet Lol i need my own advice tkdchic78 10-08-07, 02:03 PM Yep. I should be doing my Calc or Psych or Statics homework, but instead I'm here. Matt S. 10-08-07, 03:22 PM It is part of coming to ADDF for me, if I am procrastinating I am sure of it that at ADDF there are plently of other ADDers doing the same exact thing, it is ADHD. supersomeone 10-08-07, 05:58 PM is that a legit thing of add ? i dont really have anything to do ... wait no i have to study and walk the dogs and such but i would rather sit here and sing instead FrazzleDazzle 10-08-07, 06:30 PM I should be working. No I shouldn't, I have the day off. I got the time off approved right? It was on the calendar yesterday when I looked. I have the e-mail message telling me it was approved. Somewhere. I think. It's not like Christmas and New Years or Thanksgiving where EVERYBODY practically has the day off. It's my own day. I didn't get a call. Do they call people when they don't show up? Will I go in tomorrow and my swipe work? Should I call my best friend and ask her if there is a hoorah why I'm not there? I'm always there. Even on off days I'm there. Achhhh! I hate having OCD and taking days off. :faint: NonSequitur 10-08-07, 10:00 PM I suppose there's a lot I could be doing, but what the heck, it's a holiday. I can put off procrastinating until tomorrow. :p ~Ødd~Scr~θθball 10-11-07, 01:21 PM My feeling is:Whatever there is that needs to be done Today can be just as easily done Tomorrow which never comes anyway- so I always figure I'll get Aroundtoit whenever I can catch Tomorrow which is never Today even though there is always Tomorrow..... and of course Tomorrow never comes because it becomes Today and Yesterday is gone!!! :p :p :faint: :faint: :D :D Matt S. 10-11-07, 02:33 PM when you procrastinate, you save time because you get it done quicker, at least I do. Swede63 10-11-07, 02:41 PM you've got a point there mspen. I can get tons done at the last moment but it also causes a lot of stress for me. I wish I could follow the steps toward a goal instead of running around like a lunatic at the last minute:faint: inquisitive 10-11-07, 08:39 PM getting ready for work!!! NonSequitur 10-12-07, 11:36 AM Odd~Scrooball, I like the way you think! I have stuff to do, but I'm not starting for half an hour. 45 minutes? Never? EYEFORGOT 10-12-07, 03:59 PM My feeling is:Whatever there is that needs to be done Today can be just as easily done Tomorrow which never comes anyway- so I always figure I'll get Aroundtoit whenever I can catch Tomorrow which is never Today even though there is always Tomorrow..... and of course Tomorrow never comes because it becomes Today and Yesterday is gone!!! :p :p :faint: :faint: :D :D That is bloody brilliant! I have plenty I could be/should be doing...I am choosing not to. I take full responsibility for my lack of action. cleaning something/anything writing math bills sleeping :) :) :) justhope 10-12-07, 05:26 PM I should be leaving to go home now.... It's FRIDAY!!! but I'm waiting for my carpooling buddy to come ON!!! bluebird2972 10-31-07, 12:57 AM Unfortunately the word procrastinator describes me in one. I should be cleaning and organising the house, getting a job, doing my tax returns which are 2yrs behind, or feeding the family (they seldom eat on time). bluebird2972 10-31-07, 12:59 AM Also I'm an aussie and our national slogan is "she'll be right mate" which basically means don't worry things will sort themselves out don't fuss. |
