My husband is back to work after being laid off since July. It's with the same company, different location so that's a good thing. He was also interviewed for another position with a different company during his lay off period and is a final candidate.

When he was hired with the first company he was not medicated then so he passed the drug test. He's never had another. With the new company, if he gets hired on, will need to do a drug test. He takes Adderall. Does anyone have any experience with that and does it affect possible employment? He has saved his prescription information when he gets them filled so he can show he is under a Dr's. care but I am concerned about the type of job it is and if they will want someone on amphetamines and anxiety meds.

Well there are two options, either to disclose the ADHD or not take it for a day or two and then take the drug test, but considering meds can s*** the bed so to speak at times and they arent always the answer to all of ADHD it may be better to disclose so there's an awareness.
