My doctor says allows me to take 60-70 mg of Ritalin daily. However, I function better if I take more that that. Especially my social skills improve a lot when I take higher doses of Ritalin. Despite the fact that 60 mg is the "official" upper limit.

This make me wonder: how to you know if your dosage is right? Is there a procedure for determining the right dose?
