can someone tell me what normal behaviour is on ritalin and how you know its working or not working.. I dont think i like what it does to my son... just want some feedback as he goes from.. crazy.. annoying.. disobedient.. distructive.. mouthy.. loud etc....... to after it kicks in.. moody... bored.. almost depressed.... it doesnt seem right to me....:(

bump ... i have an appointment on friday.. I am in Canada... I am confused as to what to do... it doesnt seem to matter if its less or more of the meds.. seems to react the same way.. sometimes he is good but only lasts a very short time

Sharm, only from my experience..ritalin only lasts for me for a very short time..eg
15 min to kick in..45-60 min tops working
the yuk I feel....it can be managed well though if you can figure out the best time for the next dose
