We have 3 animals in our house now, my beagle Buddy, my sister's greyhound Skeeter, and mom's cat Sweetpea. Sometimes they get on my nerves cause they do their usual dog/cat thing...Cat claws the good chairs in the living room, skeeter drinks out the toilet and raids the trash when he can, and Buddy torments the cat if we yell at her for scratching the post or climbing where she not supposed to...Normal everyday thangs.
But SHEESH!!!! These animals have their not so usual quirks...Buddy is my shadow, he's got to be in every single room that I go to...even the bathroom..I close the door sometimes but other times, he psychic and runs to the bathroom before I even get there :eek:...
Skeeter does this thing where if he doesnt go outside when Buddy does, he will wait by the door in attack stance ..butt in the air and front legs hunched and the minute buddy shows up in the door, skeeter is on him like he was a chicken bone growling and jumping on Buddy. Sometimes, buddy ignores him..sometimes not.
Lord, those two, Buddy has been with us since I was 18(now 31)...and you would think he was born just last month..cause he has his ball to play with and Skeeter has a stuffed animal...heck Bud dont even care about the ball when he's got the stuffed toy around, and skeeter could care less about the stuffed animal most of the time until one of em has the other, and my greedy lil Buddy will have the animal in his mouth and still chase after the ball when I throw that at the other dog...and it is so funny to watch those two play tug of war with the animal....Buddy's got the jaws of death so he can hold on with no problem..but skeeter growls and litterly shakes his whole body to try to get it from buddy.
The cat, heh, ever since she got fixed..mostly she sleeps and eats when she is not tearing up the furniture, sometimes, other times she'll wait until someone tries to walk by her and out of the blue swings her claws at ya and sometimes the claws find it's mark and ya just wanna throw her and see if a cat can fly...and no one is safe, not even the dogs. :D
All in all these animals are total entertainment :D
