What do you want to be When You Grow Up.............

I have often thought about this

Now I am finnally accepting that I don't want to, and never will grow up.......

So, I guess I will have to settle on being

Happy with what I am

I wanted to be a policewoman, even went to college for criminal justice. But now I work in Mental Health/Mental Retardation :eyebrow:

I always wanted to be a social worker but was talked out of it.

to many things but didnt happend i dont wanna grow up

Either a psychologist or a psychiatrist with my own practice.

I wanted to be a nurse :-) and a policewoman...

now I run a knitting shop LOL ...go figure :-)

oh, and a general in the army, and a judge..LOL

a professional rugby player. play rugby for NZ. not sure if that will be possible but its worth dreaming about ay. otherwise would like to be a social worker or a policeman.
and of course be a good husband and a good father,

I'm too much a dillettante to decide on anything, so I have chosen to not grow up.

I always wanted to accomplish all my dreams, the dreams have changed a bit to suite reality a bit better,(was very dissapointed to find out I could not become a Dragon trainer).
I think I am still well on my way.

now a photographer..excpet I saw an advert for our corrective services, as a prison guard, and do you know what..I suddenly thought 'I'd LOVE to do that"

I like people, I'm not judgemental, and I see the good in everyone...
but I am also not totally gullible, and totally belive in out justice system ;-)

u should come over here, we need prison guards. I know some people that are in prisons here and they say some prison guards are real muntheads...well not in those exact terms. We need tracey.

I wanted to be a doctor when I was growing up, but have settled for being a nurse. Now I am happy that I didn't spend all that time becoming a doctor...

I now want to be a juvenile probation officer

I want to be a Career Development Specialist and work with at-risk, disabled, multicultural populations. Say that 10 times fast.

I don't wanna grow up!!!! :( But when I was little~I had then~ secret dreams of being an artist or a mother of~ can you believe I wanted 12 children!!!!! :eek: :faint: As a yonger adult I worked in day care for many many years. Today I would love to work in Special Education or as an Occupational Therapist with kindergartners or 1st graders but it requires the one thing I lack: A college degree that seems as remote as flying to the moon!!!!! A~A~A~A~A~A~UUUUUUGH!!!! The math and the stress is what would defeat me . :( :faint:

When I was a kid...and until about 15 years ago...I wanted to be a vet as well.
Harder schooling, pays way less..and in my older age...when animals bite..I don't think poor thing..I want to smack it..so that is out!

I am returning to school in a couple of years when the boys are a little older to pursue my degree in Creative Writing ....etc. I want to be a writer ( I have been compiling things for a book for well over a year).

I also want to teach teens how to use thier skills...as well, to unlock the nightmare it is, to be a teen.

I've wanted to be a lot of things. When I was younger I had a fascination with being a cashier, or an astronaut...when I got to middle school I wanted to be a teacher...in high school I wanted to be a psychiatrist...then I went to college to be a nurse...and Yeah...I still have absolutely NO idea, but if I could at least stick to a major so I could graduate I would be satisfied with whatever.

When I was little I wanted to be a dancer.
I have always been good with children.
I am going to be a Early Childhood Education Teacher.
When I get my Master( yikes) I want it to be in Special Education.
I use to work with special needs student when I was in 6th grade and the deaf.
In my teens I volunteered at a camp , Camp Happiness , from moderately problems like Down's Syndrome Children and other problems.

I cant wait for my dream to come true.... to be a Teacher.:D
