What came first, the chicken or the egg? I met w/a psychologist for an ADHD evaluation and he said I seem to manifest bipolar characteristics. UGH! I was really hoping the ADD or ADHD was my first call. I will se a psychiatrist for more info. I dread being incorrectly diagnosed. Many of the questions I answered today had to do with a checklist of child behaviors in school. This psychologist was clear about ADD being present in childhood, not something that can be developed in adulthood. Of course, I disagree with this, and found info to support the various nuances of ADD.
Well, hard to say here. Any thoughts?

all i can say is that you are who you are,
and i'm telling you, that anyone could find the literature and the science to support the argument that you might be a potato.

be true to you.

did you know a potato will glow like a light bulb if you put current through it? Maybe you should try a little shock treatment.

hehehehe...

My psychiatrist did the same thing by the way when I moved out to Calif to go to school....gave me bipolar (which I already knew I had) when I had already been given previous ADD diagnosis (and wanted to be retaining my treatment for this)...but I stuck with him....eventually he warmed up to me....and started to believe me....in fact eventually gave me some Straterra samples....anyway, I support anybody to keep looking for the right physician who will support them. And incidentally one can have both -- ADD and bipolar...some similiar symptoms but treatments are very different.

btw, I know pocketplayer in the REAL world, so my ribbing is less thoughtless and insensitive than it might seem in stark text... It's a guy thing to rip on each other without meaning anything by it. Gotta take what opportunities there are to laugh in this world, I think.

Plus it's fun to leave messages on his answering machine to "the electric potato". :D
