Study recently completed at Lehigh University College of Education says that Identification and Intervention at the preschool level (3 to 5 years old) may prevent or delay the need for stimulant medication... for more information goto

This study points out the need for early identification! As shows that if it's caught at an early age the chances of non-stimulant treatment working is increased!

I hope that's the case when I have kids, my neice is bipolar and noneof my bipolar relatives had bipolar children of their own but the hyperactivity comes from my dad's side and they all are like that, thanks for the info

The early intervention program at my office (mental health/mental retardation) is a true asset. It is best to catch things in the early stages so therapies can begin.
