Wow! What a difference!!
Most of you have read how I wasn't sure if I liked this med at 60mgs causing me to feel Anti-Social/Sad not talkative. I was afraid to try 3- 30mgs as my Dr. recommended to do while trying to find my right dosage.
Yesterday I took my Focalin XR again and sure enough... not cutting it anymore.
Today I decided to give the 90mgs a try and see how it goes. I'm GLAD I did! So far so good! I took it about 8:30 and around 9:15-9:30am I started feeling it kick in.
So far everything seems so clear and I can focus much more on my work, hyper-focusing, but I'm still able to Multi-Task too (Big Bonus!) I do not feel sad, or anti-social. I'm actually feeling happy and in a good mood.. but not 'overly' so.
My eyes feel a little strained, but not wired like I felt at 60mgs. This is normal for me with ANY new Med I try.. no matter what it is. But I know that'll get back to normal within a week so I'm not worried.
Now the test will be to see how long this lasts, how I feel when it wears off, how I sleep and how I wake up in the morning.
I suppose this proves to me that sometimes a higher dose does work. It can change the total effects of a med. I'm glad I didn't decide to give up on it.
