Ok, so I have seen a few posts on here saying that if you are diagnosed with depression, then that might be enought to get meds without the AD/HD diagnostic .

Could anybody here tell me if this could be the same for aspergers? :confused:

Depression can cause difficulty with focusing much like ADD can, depression can mimic inattentive ADD Addressing the depression may actually be addressing the problem of concentrating.

aspergers is different in that the approach is not automatically medical but first line approaches are often aimed at the social support, environmental modifications, behavioral therapies ect . . .

Depression is not usually some thing some one is born with whereas ADD and Aspergers are both conditions one is born with.
