I went to the psychiartist yesterday and he increased my dose from ritalin 20mg to 40mg LA.

I checked 5 different pharmacies last night and they all did not have this medaication!! I went to Rite Aid and they said I have to wait until Wednesday to pick it up!!


I had no improvement of 20mg at all! I'm upset because I have to wait until wednesday to take my new medication!!

Is this an obscure dosage or somthing? why is it so hard to get?

Does 40mg LA seem alot stronger than 20mg?

The pharmacy didn't offer to give you 60 of the 20 mg LA's?? That's odd. 40 mg of the LA is twice as strong as the 20 mg LA

Nope...the pharmacy is filling the perscription as written by the psychiatrist. So now I've not been medicated since Friday and I have to wait till Wednesday! Meanwhile, i slept the whole weekend away.

They say 40mg LA is the largest dose. I felt nothing on the 20mg!!
Do you think the LA is better than the regular release Ritalin??

On the 20mg LA i didn't get the 'focused brain buzz' feeling like i did when i took the regular Ritilan years ago.
