This is the 3rd or 4th one of these I've read about Thimerisol & other chemicals. This is really scarey! And what's even more scarey is that vaccines are required. In order to be admitted into the school system, vaccines are required. And do any of us "normal" folks have a clue what's in those vaccines? Probably not. We just shuffle our kids through assuming it's safe because it's required & it's been done for decades. The first thing I think of is pharmaceutical companies & their need to continually make profit. If we're never completely healed from anything, their future is secure.

I think this is mostly BS and the press are all over it because anything that scares people sells newspapers. And what could be scarier than poisons being injected directly into our children! Much like the recent Mad Cow hoopla. I'd say more research is needed, but the research to date has not shown a link. Anyone who knows statistics will tell you it's possible for two things to be corelated (like increased reports of autism at the same time as increased vaccination rates) and yet not be related to each other. I'm more worried about the reprocusions of an infant getting the flu than I am about a slightly increased risk of autism, based on an anecdotal relationship.
My $.02, for what it's worth. Hope I don't offend anyone.
