My wife and I REFUSE to get the flu vaccine for ourselves or our son... you would not BELIEVE the crap that is in the shot in addition to the actual vaccine... :eek:

We refuse to get the flu vaccine also. What sense is it to inject the flu virus in you (along with Lord knows what else!) so that you DON'T get the flu... and then they have news reports that say... "this years flu vaccine won't protect against numerous variations of the virus." And people wonder why they get sick in the first place. None of my family has ever had the flu shot & have yet to have the flu either.

Frankly, I think this whole vaccine causing autism is horse****. I get the flu shot every year. I'm a big beleiver in vacination in general.
But to each his own - I'm a bigger beleiver in freedom of choice.

hmmm... I eat tuna almost everyday... (b/c it's cheap!!) maybe that's why I'm ADD?! lol! I guess it's possible...


greg, I agree - I'm all for vaccines, but again, also a bigger believer in the freedom of choice. of course, i never GET vaccines because i'm too disorganized to pick up my butt and go....

in the fall our campus always has like 10 places you can get the flu shot and bill it to your student account. I mean... like they sit right outside my classroom and everything... lol! still didn't get one even though I meant to!

Our personal choice is to vaccinate. And alot of ppl do not realize the flu shot does NOT keep you from getting sick, it only helps to prevent severe cases of the CHEST FLU. As far as I know there is not a vaccine against the STOMACH FLU but trust me if there was I would be first in line :).
