I'm just really excited that I'm going to see a new psychiatrist and he actually believes ADHD exists and hopefully he will treat me for it.
I don't know if he will want me to be formally tested, and if he does thats fine. But i'm just really glad that I might have finally found a psychiatrist that will actually listen to me and isn't passive, and isn't patronizing. 2 more days! Yay! It's about damn time!

congrats on that! my general doc. in the US here doesnt believe i have ADD so I know how that is. glad I went to the psych. to over-rule my gen. doc. let us know how it goes :) :)

lol that's why I have two different doctors...a psychiatrist and a general doctor...they like to fight over what's the appropriate medicine....it can be fun

congrats! i get my new dosage tomorrow, which is great because i'm almost out of meds and am not supposed to miss a day.

Well I liked him and he does believe I have ADD. I pinched a nerve in my neck today and it hurts like hell so i'll post more about my visit later. But oh boy! Got an Adderall script for 10 mg. XR to start out. I think i would still like to be tested, it's mostly a matter of getting the money for it.

Which state do you live in? services everywhere seem to be different.
