maori_boy
10-28-07, 04:47 AM
wow that almost looks like snow ay.
i live in northland, way in the northern tip of the north island. Its almost tropical weather in the summer gets to 30-32C but in the winter it can get as cold as 10C.
it only really snows in the south island and on the top of mt ruapehu in the north island and sometimes on desert road.
ive never been to the south island. the furtherst south ive been is probably Tauranga/Mt Maunganui.
does it not snow at all in aussie?
whats do-deca-hedron meant to mean?

maori_boy
10-28-07, 04:50 AM
tornadoes...freaky! the worst thing ive ever been in is an earthquake a couple of months ago, it was mini but there was a 7.2 down south about a month ago and one of our volcanoes erupted. the downsides of being right on two plates.

It was very windy at my house last night as well. We have had rain for the last three days and it finally stopped last night. Now we just have the wind. And the wind is COLD!

maori_boy
10-28-07, 07:48 AM
nah its not that cold here ay. oh true didnt realise it was a shape haha. funny word.
they say theres gona be a big earthquake here soon. theyve said for ages that within the next 10 years there will be a big one. that started like 10 years ago. so we are due and for a huge volcano as well. the last couple ones have been on the small side.

I am also heading into summer! i cant wait!
Spring is kinda draining in melbourne cause its always freezing in the morning and really hot in the arvo so you never know what to wear!

You guys have really never seen snow? It's never snowed where i live but we go up to bulla or one of the other mountains to toboggan or ski most years. Its good fun! I highly reccomend it.

maori_boy
10-28-07, 09:49 AM
oh true, that would be a sweet place to go in the winter. i really want to go to aus one day ay.
whats melbourne like?

ninjanicole
10-28-07, 10:04 AM
haha well its supposed to be the most livable city. And i suppose i must agree cause.. well.. i'm living there.

Its pretty good, i live down on the mornington peninsula so i'm surrounded by beaches and the people are friendly and stuff.

One good thing about melbourne is the night life. There is a lot of it. hehe i used to be a big clubber but.. i dunno. i guess since i got a bf.. its just not the same you know.

Whats nz like? i've always wanted to go there. I heard a joke once that it was: 'two sheep paddocks separated by a ditch' haha but i have watched getaway enough times to know its not really like that. hehe

maori_boy
10-28-07, 10:09 AM
oh true, sounds pretty awesome there ay. gotta go sometime. im sure he's worth giving up the clubbing ay or u could always drag him along haha. nah its not the same i know.
aussie is so big ay, theres so much to see. Havent been out of my island yet ay. sheeez.

i live way up north, in northland, theres not much sheep up here, lots of beaches, lots of bush. I grew up in a town of 200 but moved to Whangarei city like 60,000 people. its cool. I got some pics in the photo section

The only downside is the crazy people on the trains. Especially seeing as i live very close to frankston, which, although it has cleaned up its image a lot, still has a few very dodgy people hanging around.. lol

LOL..I had the craziest dream again last night..

I was on holiday in the US..and I discovered you could go and buy a gun off the shelf in Kmart (Walmart) and alongside the guns was a fabulous display of big bullets!!!
Anyway, I got my gun, and bullets....and felt *naughty* at the checkout..and the girl asked what I wanted to shoot..and I said "TUNA" and she said, "these bullets are no good for tuna, they'll go straight through"...but I liked the box, it was orange and yellow, and I got them anyway..

The next thing I knew I was in prison ..LOL...(nothing to do with the gun, or the tuna) and the female guards were laughing at my hyperness..becasue I couldn't sit still..so we all went shopping..

cool :-)

Ok, you herpitologists....I let an Olive Python crawl on my shoulders once and held a smaller one plus a blue-tongued lizard and bearded dragon. Had to or look chicken in front of 41 7th &8th grade kids. That was enough... I will rappell again, but prefer to just look at the reptiles and amphibians thank you. Crickey, mate, he can really squeeze tight...

I like snakes, when I was a kid I used to catch the small ones and show them to my mother.

I used to tell my brother to pick up dead animals and road kill and say "Go show it to mommy".

I was an evil kid.
