I am trying to start treatment and meds , but dont know how, I dont even have a reg Dr I was diagnosed with adhd as a child and took ritalin till 16 but stopped after i was incarcerated as a juvenile i am now 31 and play Strategic games as a living and have been told that I need meds for my adhd ,that it would improve my focus and alot of other stuff in my life . I have a free counseling center called riverwood that I could go to for free as i have no insurance plz help?

go to the counseling center and see what they can do for you. perhaps they can refer you to a doc and you can try meds again.

they should be able to help you get insurance are you eligible for Medicaid?

Go to the counseling center they should be able to help you or direct you the right way.

Counsellors/MDs/PhDs often miss diagnosing ADD.

Try to get tested.
