A new formulation of depakote is in the works.

Good to know. I don't take Depakote, afraid of the weight gain. Wonder if the new drug will have same side effects?

I'd reckon the liver testing would be required for this formulation, too. Somehow I think it is just the nature of Depakote, but of course I may be wrong. Wouldn't that be a great improvement? :)
