Well..Its late, I'm bored, I figured I'd hit this forum since today has been an emotionally odd day within. Having read the posts, there is quite a big similarity between many of us.
I'm curious about a few things, so, if you feel like indulging, please answer.

1.) How many of you have difficulty making a clear, straightforward point and what do you do if anything to adapt?

2.) If you have adapted, what was the result for you?

3.) How exactly do you handle a day where you feel a boilover of negative emotions with no specific reason to be there other than that they are?

4.) Has bullying ever affected your experience w/ ADD?

5.) Do you ever have agoraphobic tendencies at times, and yet other times you could pretend to be "joe cool" with random strangers?

Heh..More or less these summarize a few personal things but I'll wait on that til I start seeing some answers. Its pretty obvious the ADD will come out and people are going to answer regardless of my own story.

1. I try and think about what I want to say before I say it, usually doesn't work because I blurt things out.

2. Don't really think I have adapted yet.

3. I try and think about happy thoughts. Or go home and go to bed

4. no

5. no, never had agoraphobic tendancies I am usually pretty social when I am out.

1) Sometimes I think I have this problem, so to compensate I repeat myself or say the same thing like 4 different ways....to many people's annoyance.

2) I think all people have this problem at one point or another. Reading and developing a better vocabulary might help.

3)This happens to me all the time. Here are some of my good & not so good coping techniques: Cry, blow up at someone, go running, drink, take about 10 minutes to lay down & deep breathe....life could be worse.

4)When you say bullying, do you mean by someone to me or by me to someone? No it hasn't effected me.

5)No....I like soft sweaters....jk! Actually I don't suffer from social issues...I am pretty outgoing all the time. I suppose there are times when I just don't feel like going anywhere (like when I have a big pimple or something). But I know someone who is possible ADHD that is very much like that.
