So I was watching this show on TV with my mom. It's called the first 48 hours or something like that; It's about homicide detectives and if they don't find the killer in the first 48 hours it's difficult to ever find them. Okay great something I can be interested in, except about 30 minutes into the hour long show I"m like ok just tell me who the killer was so I can go do something else.


Anyone else ever feel that way? You want to see the ending so bad and it makes you irritated you have to sit there and wait to see it.


Maybe it's just lack of medication today. I forgot :D !!!

i hate it when they put that filler stuff . . just get to the point already!

I hate suspense. I usually fast forward through most suspense movies! I have to get to the end and see what happens. I am very impatient. Impatience is a part of ADHD.

during the first show I was fine..but they kept showing more shows so I was like ok I HAVE to see these stories...by time I got to the last one I watched...I was ready to jump through the tv...take the detectives by the arm and run to the end of the show or take their gun and hold the whole place hostage until someone told me who did the killing

hey im like that too.
when im reading a suspense book, i read a few chapters, then go to the end to find out who dun it.
same with dvd, watch the first bit then skip to the end.

I'm like that with the "real life" shows, but if it's fiction I can wait to find out. I like the surprise. In fact, I'm disappointed if I figure it out early, then it's like what's the point in reading on.

Normally I'm pretty impatient, but I enjoy suspense. Although, sometimes I read through pretty fast to get to the end.

Impatience my dear fellow ADHDer, it is how it is for a lot of us.

I'm still figuring the whole adhd thing...I always thought being impatient was just who I was...being an only child...I want it now...I get it now lol
