The point to this game is merely to post superstitions and urban legends...

Examples: Area 51 is a secret alien base ran by the CIA.

or

If you walk under a ladder you have seven years of bad luck.

I think everyone gets the drift... :p :D :) :o

There is no 13th floor listed in most high~rise buildings. In actuality there is a 13th floor as the numbers system does not jump from 12 to 14 despite the fact this is often ignored because of people's idea that the number 13 is unlucky which it isn't. It is a lucky number because it combines 3+1=4 which is lucky
:) :) :)

How ya' doin' today...? :)

Tokalosh. .
One of the funniest African superstitions.

A Tokalosh is a 1 foot high man that would steal you from your bed while you sleep.
To counter him from steeling you, youd have to place a brick under each bed leg.
So funny to see beds on bricks. . . looks like a car with stolen tires. . . thats funny too

What about the one ' step on a crack and you break your mothers back." This is reference to sidewalks cracks.

Whenever I spilled salt, my mother told me I had to throw some over my left shoulder or I'd have bad luck. I was always spilling things.

the whole 'touch wood' thing

that myth that you only use 10% of your brain!

It drives me crazy.

Its actually 'You only ever use 10% of your brain AT THE ONE TIME'. And i think the percentage might have gone up recently but i cant be bothered looking it up.

Standing in a mirror and saying 'bloody mary' I forgot how many times you have to say it but apparently a woman will appear in the mirror after awhile

what was it we used to do....something like light as a feather stiff as a board....all us girls got in a circle with one girl laying in the middle with 2 fingers each underneath her body. Supposedly we were gonna be able to lift her cause if we concentrated long enough she was gonna be as light as a feather

There is no such thing as the Friends University of Central Kansas.

(It is just called Friends University. Though it is in central Kansas. :p )

No matter how much some of us perverts want there to be. ;)

I'm not sure if this is one, being it was proven correct. I saw it on Mythbusters.

You really can drive a car up a ramp into an eighteen wheeler like they did in Knight Rider.:)

The Hook

Based on the teenage story about the Hook Man ..murdering naughty teenagers who sneak off to make out at the locale lover's lanes....

In my hometown, the variation was called the GoatMan...(go figure)

Everytime there is a 13th floor acutally numbered, I end up on it. Both times I have stayed in hotels in the last two months I have been on the 13th floor!

Every president of the United States belonged to Yale University's Skull and Bones club. This lends it self to the ledgend that there is a group of people that control every thing that goes on in the world from the ecomomy to who gets elected to power, its all about what gives them more money.
