Hey all, I just recently found this forum on google and I have to say, I can definitely relate to some of the topics here.
Well, anyways... I have ADD and always knew there was something different about me from the other kids. I went to the doctor three years ago for some medicine and used it on and off.
I was prescribed Strattera and was told by the doctor how great and "natural" it is. When I take it, most of the time I feel alot more focused when I'm studying, driving, or doing any normal task. The only problem is when I play sports.
I do a very demanding sport (Mixed Martial Arts) that uses alot of intensity when doing it. I feel very nauseous and weak when doing any exercise on the medicine and the few times I have taken strattera earlier in the day and trained, I felt drained and almost puked.
..Because of this, I have stopped taking the medicine, although it did help me alot with other things. Should I continue taking the medicine and see what happens, ask the doctor to prescribe me to new medicine, or just not take anything?
Thanks for any help in advance.
