I've seen this on way to many forums. It's called "The Longest Thread".

How it works is that people try to make random posts to try and keep this thread the longest or something like that.

I've tried this on other forums but it doesn't do well, but as we have many people on this forum it might do ok.

I hope this thread aint against any rules but if it is, I'm sorry.

Let's get postin'.

The idea i think is to keep this thread longer than the others.

I've seen this on other boards but it lacked the member capacity to keep this thread alive. I figure with other 20,000 members it's got some potential here.

yeah right . . i wish. I am good at parts of it, lie where you have to think. But I suck at learning work.
I am studying architecture, I love it, but hate studying for history and theory. . . youd think theory would reqire more thinkning and less parroting.

I think I have combine AD/HD. nothing is really stimulating for too long.

Yep, Andy. "Elephant Talk" really is the longest thread. It's been running for ages, and totally aimless... it's fantastic.... an ADDer's haven.

Yes, it's not the longest thread :) - it probably should be renamed 'almost the longest thread', or maybe 'will one day be the longest thread', or 'almost possibly, (apart from LP), could be the longest thread'.

Well, LP gets broken down into chunks every now and again, but I am sure if we add all 3 threads together it is the longest.

I'd be inclined to disagree with that one. I have many times seen road-kill. It was certainly not anything like closed, in fact it was more open than it was ever intended to be. And although it was not closed, it was undeniably dead. :cool:

Maybe it's something to do with latitude? I've seen plenty of wombats dead on the road, and they are definitely closed, (you have to steer clear of wombats they're like concrete blocks on the road). Even the roos are pretty closed, (bloody roos keep bouncing into the headlights). Although the smaller animals do tend to 'open' more... I have to agree.

So, maybe it's a size thing?

I nearly hit a wild deer once...some escaped from a local wildlife park, and started breeding..it was weird..they are not native here...I don't think ;-)

I have never seen a wombat outside of a zoo either. Must be cool to see them running wild in their natural environment.

They more waddle, than run..... no not waddlle, lumber. They're OK, just avoid them when driving. Actually the roos are the worst. They act like deers do and tend to jump in front of the car, (towards the thing that is scaring them).

Why do they do that? It's just asking for their death sentence. On a lighter note it reminds me of the Family Guy movie where stewie is stopped by a fruit stand and he says "Damn. Why is there always a fruit stand?".
