Tonight I have to make a phone call to a Friend I saw ealier this week but other than Happy Thanksgiving and telling her about my last day of Partial I don't know what to talk about...

Ask her about herself. If you are interested in her then get to know her. If not, then make the call short and sweet. Don't committ to calling her again so as to not give her the wrong impression if you are not interested.

well I ended up with the answering machine so my job was easy. Now I just have to wait till she calls back. Now I'll have more to talk about...

this is more exciting than any soap. . . has she called back yet? And how did it go.

She hasn't called back yet, but I will try again tonight because I feel better then I did on Monday and I want to tell her what has happened this past week.
