I am so fed up with my mind being a constant pinball machine that I could jump building. We all deal with life's problems whether you have ADD or not.
What has happened in your life that has provided you with inspiration? What worldy and wise things can you share with your humble and meek peers?
Here are a few quotes I have always enjoyed that I will kick it off with:
MAN'S WORST ENEMY? EACH MAN IS HIS OWN.
One man has never married, and that's his hell: another is, and that's his plague! Richard Burton 1577-1640
Me- I was having what seemed at the time like one of the "worst days ever" My financial world crumbling, marriage in trouble, my mental compass had exploded, I was lost and had no sense of purpose and quite frankly, I felt defeated, washed up!
I got home from work and I was greeted with even MORE bad news! I couldn't take it! I wanted Scotty to beam me up, but Scotty was not taking my call!
I was walking through the house, head hung down, a complete wreck, and what do I see? Our little 3 pound chihuahua and he is happy! He is doing mad circles on the couch, he is so happy to see me that he can barely contain himself. He is shaking and his tongue is langerously hanging outside of his mouth. I immediately smiled and laughed. I thought to myself, here I am acting like my life is over, and this 3 pound dog who had a brain the size of a pea is estatic to see me! My best friend weighs 3 pounds! and he is worth his weight in gold! He was my inspiration to get myself out of my funk.
Strength comes from within. We just need to be reminded of that every so often!
So go kick some butt tomorrow at whatever you do! Stay focused! and have a good day! ;) :soapbox: :)
