yesterday was the worst day I've had at work, but I was in a good mood all day, thank god. this is something that would come straight out of a good sitcom.

so I woke up early for work, 5:15 am (work at 7am) to get ready and start my day off right. i turn off the alarm, do a few streches and.... i wake up again at 7:30. ****. so I just throw my work clothes on, brush my teeth n fly out the door and run to work.I didnt know yet but I left the appartment with my keys still on the wall right by the door ( I can lock all the doors on my way out without my keys). I got to work and the keys to my locker were... well with my home keys, so i couldnt get my workboots. I had to go see the foreman, tell him im an hour late by that time and I had no acces to my boots and my keys for my lock (I work in a mill n we need a lock with us at all times) were still @ home. he gave me bolt cutters to get into my locker and lent me another lock.... so its not too bad. I get to my post and start working, and i slice my thumb open with an exacto knife. so im bleeding moderatly and still trying to work (we were going through a rush at the time) so i wrapped up my thumb in a clena sloth and kept going, the bleeding stopped after a while and it calmed down so i could wrap it properly. just as that finished we had to change a reel for a machine, the bloody thing weighs 400-500 lbs. so we get it into place and the guy in front of me lowers it.... right onto my foot BEHIND the steel cap. and of course in these situations everyone is slow to understand "Ahhhhhh move it move it move ittt!". "move what?"..... idiot. lol. so he got it off my foot and i walked it off as best I could.
so thats all that happened at work... I leave for home (forgetting i have no keys) and realise im locked out of the building, i waited till someone came, then i had to card into my room.... and then I slept

Yep, we gotta laugh at ourselves!

And if it really was a sitcom, how long it would take to set it up and shoot it? Think about that! ;)

Aargh!!! Mike, sell that sitcom script quick!

On my front door I have a little piece of paper that reads

--got keys?
--nothing cooking?
--dog inside?
--got cell phone?
--thermostat down?
--head fastened on tight?

If you do sell the sitcom, can we all have parts in it? :D

hahaha. yeah definatly!

ill have to post 'my trip to Toronto', it would be an awesome movie just in itself. the pathetic part is that I downplay alot of the events, n its still way out there.

Sorry your day was so chaotic, Tell.

I have many days like that I don't tell anyone about.

Example:
Have to go shopping...Get to car...Go back in house for car keys...Close car door on finger...Rush to store because running late...Bang into someone with shopping cart...Fidget while waiting in checkout line...Go to car...Go back into store because I forgot to buy the thing I went for...and on and on and on. The whole day goes like that.

My husband can't figure out what I do all day. LOL If only he knew.

Gosh, I bet we can all relate! I have an extra car key in my wallet and in my desk at work. I have locked my keys in my car so many times, so I guess after the 500th time a light finally went on and I made copies :)
