That dose wouldn't hurt you but I strongly recommend asking your doctor first, he should'nt have an issue with it.
While you can certainly increase it on your own, the best advice is to call and leave a message for him/her to call you back. Tell them what your intentions are and why. Just be straightforward and honest.
Why?
(1) It is the responsible thing to do. Some doctors are touchy about taking medicine dosing into ones own hands, but with all ADD medication the only person who knows what is best is you, but this means that you must become very familiar with the medicine its affects on you, its duration, and the most difficult aspect is determining what your underlying question is asking: The tolerance your body builds over time.
(2) By conversing with your doctor you build a better relationship, which is important for obvious reasons.
One very important thing on tolerance.
For me I have recognized that I require about a 5 mg increase in adderall every 5-7 months. Such has been the case for many years.
HOWEVER, Be vary careful in Mis-monitoring yourself. You may experience periods in your daily life that are simply more interesting and involving than others so don't jump to the assumption that your medicine dose needs increasing -think about what if anything has changed and then make an intelligible decision.
I initially took adderall & dextrostat -morning and evening respectively, but I now take adderall 3X daily. I have been taking adderall for 10+ and over time the duration slowly decreased but this was after many years.
Lastly, always remember that these medications are not for recreational use. The benefits that you receive from these medications are such because of incremental chemical additions in your brain. Too much will for one cause your body to produce less and you want to keep that at a minimum. Be responsible and you can benefit Long-Term but abuse or poor monitoring of your bodies needs will likely cause certain undesired results.

Well said!
Couldn't agree more.
Please don't take more than you are prescribed. Or without asking your doctor.
Good luck!

I agree also bkaguy. Wish I had understood that earlier. Oh well I've learned now! Hopefully others will too.
